Overview
Fulton Adventist University was established to serve the needs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and to contribute to the wider Pacific community's growth, development and success. Its education system is centred on the harmonious development of the physical, mental and spiritual powers — preparing students for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.With Fiji being the hub of the Pacific, Fulton serves as a regional training institution attracting students from Fiji, American Samoa, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Kiribati, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Australia, America and Albania. Fulton also seeks to employ faculty and staff from these countries to encourage a regional and international perspective.
Statement of Philosophy
Fulton offers an education that motivates youths on the threshold of life — that they may be ready to take their places as good citizens, well prepared for the practical experiences of living, fully developed physically, God-fearing, with characters untarnished and hearts true to principles.It is Fulton's intention to provide educational programmes that embrace a holistic approach to true education for the training of the whole person:
Intellectually — imparting relevant, up-to-date knowledge so that students develop the mental capacity to think critically and analytically.
Physically — involving students in work programmes and recreational activities to develop healthy habits and meaningful relationships.
Spiritually — helping students develop faith in God and hope in His promises.
