Timeline
A Vision for the Pacific
The need for a training school in Fiji for Seventh-day Adventists was recognised by pioneer missionary John E. Fulton. Property was secured at Buresala on the island of Ovalau.
Founding
The Buresala Training School was opened. Other training institutions were later established in Navuso, Samambula and Vatuvonu.
Relocation & New Beginnings
The church consolidated its educational work in Fiji. A new campus on Kings Road, Tailevu, was built and named in honour of Pastor John E. Fulton.
International Accreditation
Programmes accredited by AAA and SPATS — Fulton's theology and education programmes recognised across the South Pacific and internationally.
University College Status
Academically registered by the Higher Education Commission Fiji (HECF). Qualifications placed on the Fiji Register of Qualifications in 2015.
Regional Partnerships
MOUs signed with Pacific Adventist University (PNG), Avondale University (Australia) and Mamarapha College (Australia).
New Campus, Sabeto, Nadi
Fulton relocated from Tailevu to a modern new property at Sabeto in Nadi, providing a contemporary campus environment.
University Registration
On 21 November 2018, registered by HECF as Fulton Adventist University College.
Growing Global Partnerships
Statement of Understanding signed with Southern Adventist University (USA). MOU in progress with the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
