Programme Overview

This postgraduate programme equips graduates with advanced skills in financial reporting, corporate governance, taxation and business research. It follows International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and prepares graduates for the accounting and auditing profession at a senior level, as well as providing a foundation for Master's study.

Applicants must have successfully completed the Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Management) or equivalent programme with a minimum GPA of 2.6

Develop advanced skills in financial reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards, covering consolidation, financial instruments, and complex group structures.

Examine governance frameworks, board responsibilities, and ethical decision-making, with emphasis on accountability and integrity in Pacific and global organisations.

.Apply taxation law to complex business scenarios, covering income tax, VAT, and cross-border issues with practical application to the Fijian tax system

Use costing, budgeting, and performance measurement techniques to support strategic decision-making and organisational control.

Build the quantitative and qualitative research skills needed to design, conduct, and report a rigorous business research project.
